Settling back to Boston after the hustle and bustle of the holidays is not an easy task. However, let For Kids Only, at The Sports Club/LA-Boston get you geared for the New Year, with their enrichment classes, creative programs and family focused approach.
Surf’s up for this little swimmer, who started developing her skills in For Kids’ Only Guppies and Goldfish Infant and Toddler Swim Program. Swimming is just one of the many classes offered to encourage your bouncing babies or tenacious tots to develop a passion for sports, encourage enthusiasm, and further develop and build coordination and confidence. From education based enrichment classes and sport inspired programs to yoga, art, drama and music, FKO, at The Sports Club/LA-Boston, is “a club within the club.”

Kate includes ways for you and your family to kick off the New Year with engaging educational curriculum, fitness focused classes and family friendly events.Give your little one a fun ‘n fit start to the new year at Sports Club/LA’s For Kids Only! Our enrichment programs and special events are open to both Member and non-member families. Premier programs for our Members include our group swim lessons and Family Day.
We offer a core curriculum of developmentally-appropriate classes for children aged 16 months to 4 years, specifically designed to nurture children’s need for a healthy, playful environment. In our Busy Bees, Traveling Twos and Going Places classes, students follow a regular routine that supports language, learning and social skills. Through books, art, music and imagination, students will investigate a new theme each month. In January, we are exploring all different types of transportation, and coming up in February, we will blast off to Outer Space!
Young yogis aged 2.5 to 6 learn the basics of yoga through music, activities and stories in our Yogastarz program. Students will be provided with the tools to strengthen self-confidence, concentration, breathing and physical awareness. By incorporating games to learn yoga poses and stretches, students will build focus and attention, and have fun while getting fit.
And a little something for you parents, who deserve a break at the end of a long week! Drop your little one off for a special Movie Night on Friday, January 24th. While they’re having dinner and watching a family-friendly film, you can enjoy dinner at Blu, the Sports Club/LA’s premier restaurant; finally get in a full workout, or indulge in a relaxing treatment at The Spa – try January’s signature treatment, a Kashmir Spice facial or massage. Kick off the weekend with a night out for the whole family!
For your budding Guppy or Goldfish, enroll in our group swim program. Families will learn the best techniques for little ones to acclimate and thrive in the water. By incorporating songs, techniques, toys, and allowing families time to practice on their own, this class will create a fun learning experience on how to balance the challenge and support needed to enhance early swim development. Class levels range from infant introduction at 6 months to increased toddler advancement through 36 months.
Every Sunday at the Sports Club/LA is Family Day, an opportunity for the entire family to play, get fit and have fun. Sports Club/LA offers four hours of fitness and sports activities throughout the club for our members with children aged 6 months to 15 years to enjoy together. Hit the basketball court, take a dip in the pool, or try your hand at a game of squash!
